Dr. Mandakini Parihar, a Consultant Gynaecologist and Infertility Specialist, completed her graduation and post graduation from Lokmanya Tilak Medical College , Mumbai. She attended the University Of Texas Medical School in Houston, USA as a visiting fellow and then went on to work at South Tees General Hospital, Middleborough, UK. She has trained in Endoscopic surgery, both hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery at Frauklinik, Heidelberg, Germany, University of Nashville, Tennessee and Hysteroscopy Training Centre, Haarlem, Netherlands.

She has edited 8 books and has authored more than 40 chapters in graduate and post-graduate textbooks. At the present time she is attached as an Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the KJ Somaiya Medical College and is the Director of Mandakini Fertility Clinic and IVF Centre. She is also attached as a Consultant at the Wockhardt Hospital , Mumbai & at BEAMS, Khar, Mumbai.

Dr. Mandakini Parihar is the recipient of numerous awards and prizes. She has been awarded the Kumud Tamaskar research Prize for her work in infertility. She has the Nimish Shelat Prize for original work in Reproductive Endocrinology. She is a very active member of the Federation of obstetrics and gynecological societies of India (FOGSI) and has served as Jt. Secretary to the FOGSI in 2003 and as Chairperson, Family Welfare Committee from 2004 to 2009. She has also been awarded the prestigious Mehroo Dara Hansotia Prize for the best work done by her committee. She is also the recipient of the C. S. Dawn prize for the best paper presented at AICOG in 2004 and been given the D. K. Dutta prize twice for the best publication in 2002 (for her book Advanced Infertility Management) and again in 2006( FOGSI Focus in The Modern Pill). She was awarded the ICOG Foreign Fellowship in 2006.

Dr. Mandakini Parihar is a very renowned speaker and is frequently invited for guest lectures and invited talks at various National and International Conferences on Infertility. She has presented papers and posters at National and International Conferences on Infertility and has also been awarded numerous prizes for the same.
